A description you can copy

The Youth Civic Engagement Initiative (YCEI) is a student-run organization launched in Northern California in 2024. Its members read the local laws that shape the communities they come from, explain them in plain language, and work on the ones closest to home. By its own count YCEI has more than 100 members in 14 chapters, each one led by the students in it.

Copy it as it stands. If you need it shorter, cut from the end.

Contact

Write to admin@youthcei.org. One address takes press questions, corrections, and anything about starting a chapter. Our leadership team is four students, named with their titles on our people page.
